The Story Behind

I became a psychologist because I have always been fascinated by the inner life — the stories we tell ourselves, the patterns we inherit, the ways we contract or expand depending on the environments and relationships we find ourselves in.
And then I became a mother.
And everything I thought I understood about identity, self-worth, and self-trust was quietly tested in a way no training could have fully prepared me for.
I watched myself — and so many of the women around me — slowly disappear into the role. The good mother. The patient mother. The self-sacrificing mother. The one who held everything together and asked for almost nothing in return.
I also watched what happened when women stopped doing that. When they began to reclaim themselves — not in spite of their children, but for them. When they started making choices grounded in their values, not their guilt. When they started trusting themselves again.
The shift was extraordinary. Not just for them. For their whole families.
That is why Mama Momentum exists. Not to help you become a better mother. But to help you become the woman you were always meant to be — and to trust that in doing so, you will be exactly the mother your children need.
